Calendar
The
calendar in common usage was introduced by Emperor Aahzrobades I
of the Aziiryan Empire during his reign (AR 1 – 69). The
calendar consists of 12 months, which follow the cycle of the
largest moon, Zael.
The
months consist of three 10-day weeks, more commonly referred to as
"marches", and are named for each of the gods.
Separating the seasons are four festivals. The four seasonal
festivals are Winterfest, Growfest, Swordmeet (which lasts 2
days), and Darkenfeast. Thus,
the Erythean year is 365 days long.
